Why Gender Matters: Empower and collaborate with civil society and change agents to overcome gender barriers

March 21, 2024

The second session of the webinar series on Why Gender Matters for Immunization: IA2030, will take place on Thursday 4 April 2024.

Session 2: Empower and collaborate with civil society and change agents to overcome gender barriers

Civil society, grassroots organizations, and change agents are powerful allies in overcoming gender barriers and increasing demand for immunisation services. They often work in  the hardest-to-reach communities and have the local expertise to disseminate immunisation programme information. The second webinar of this series will showcase two promising approaches that aim to identify and reach zero-dose children and improve access to health services through the involvement of women’s organizations in urban Mali and India.

All sessions of this webinar series will be in English, with simultaneous translation into French.
