HOW YOU CAN USE THIS MATERIAL:

The information and guidance in this report can help equip in-country decision-makers with evidence-based information to inform the decision to introduce PCV.

OVERVIEW:

Jordan is one of five EMRO countries (alongside Egypt, Somalia, Syrian Arab Republic, and Islamic Republic of Iran) that has yet to introduce PCV into the national schedule. Introducing PCV in Jordan is a big stride in closing the global PCV introduction gap and preventing the needless suffering of children around the world. This evidence-based report on PCV use globally and within the EMRO region was compiled to support discussions by Jordan’s National Immunization Technical Advisory Group (NITAG) members with respect to PCV introduction and can help equip in-country decision-makers with evidence-based information to inform the decision to introduce PCV.
