Immunization and Health Reform: Making Reforms Work for Immunization

This document has been prepared in response to concerns about the implications of health sector reforms upon EPI. The document is intended to provide guidance for national immunization programs in countries that are undertaking health sector reforms, and for donors providing technical assistance and funding to those countries. Zambia and Uganda were visited while preparing the guideline, which also refers to experience from other places. Annex 1 describes the reforms and the immunization services in the two countries visited.
