Understanding the concept of service experience and how it applies to immunisation programmes.

HOW YOU CAN USE THIS MATERIAL:

This toolkit can be used by country practitioners in the EPI and implementing partners, as well as global and regional level funders and implementing partners, to understand how service experience applies to immunisation programmes and how it can be used to improve confidence, acceptance, demand, and uptake of vaccination.

OVERVIEW:

Immunisation service experience includes the factors within and beyond the interactions between a health worker and an immunisation client which influence the delivery and experience of the immunisation service. JSI’s Immunisation Service Experience (SE) Toolkit consists of five products: Getting Started Guide, Explainer Video, Fact Sheet, SE Orientation Presentation, and Discussion Questions. The purpose of this toolkit is to introduce the concept of SE as it applies to immunisation programmes to country, regional, and global audiences; and to provide this information in a user-friendly format for countries to begin addressing SE in their contexts.
