On Tuesday, February 16, Sabin Vaccine Institute invites you to join an hour-long moderated webinar event comprised of both an expert panel discussion and brief Q&A. The webinar, Lessons Learned from Past Outbreaks – Bridging Interdisciplinary Insights to Strengthen COVID-19 Vaccination Acceptance and Demand, will feature a panel of global, interdisciplinary experts, including applied anthropologists and global health practitioners, to discuss lessons learned from past infectious disease responses. Expert panelists will reflect on how past responses can inform efforts to strengthen global COVID-19 vaccination acceptance.

This conversation will be moderated by Dr. Luisa Enria, Assistant Professor, London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and 2019 Sabin grant partner. The soon-to-be-announced expert panel will discuss the structural and systemic factors historically impacting global health infectious disease programs and place them into conversation with the realities of disease response in practice. Panelists will apply these insights to inform COVID-19 and future vaccination approaches.

You’re encouraged to submit questions for the Q&A component in advance to VaccineAcceptance@sabin.org.
